Collaboration Joris Laarman Lab for NautaDutilh Amsterdam

During the development of the new interior of NautaDutilh Amsterdam, several creative collaborations have been initiated by Casper Schwarz Architects. The organic layout of the entrance hall has driven us to present the Joris Laarman Lab as a collaborating artist to create outspoken functional elements. Our client is into arts and reorganized its arts budget to make this possible. The elements are made of lasercut aluminum triangles which are finished with dark American walnut paneling. One element offers a stand-height work space for the hostess, the other provides seating for any visitor or employee. The result is an amazing combination of modern techniques and handcraft skills. The shapes and materials sparkle in their context  and they add lots of value to our refined interior design. It shows how collaborations can lead to a surplus and how NautaDutilh distinguishes itself modestly from the other Zuid-as offices.
